    Ringu Tulku Rinpoche

    Ringu Tulku Rinpoche is a Tibetan Buddhist Master of the Kagyu Order. He was trained in all schools of Tibetan Buddhism, under great masters including His Holiness the 16th Karmapa, and Dilgo Khentse Rinpoche. He took his formal education at Namgyal Institute of Tibetology in Sikkim, and Sampurnananda Sanskrit University in Varanasi, India. He has served as a Professor of Tibetan Studies in Sikkim for 25 years.

    Since 1990, Rinpoche has been traveling and teaching Buddhism and meditation across Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, and Asia. He is the author of more than a dozen books; such as the Path to Buddhahood, the Lazy Lama series, and the Heart Wisdom series.

    Ringu Tulku Rinpoche is also the founder of a non-profit Educational & Cultural Association based in Brussels, called Bodhicharya. Bodhicharya supports educational and healthcare projects around the world, as well as translating and publishing Buddhist teachings.

  • Ela Crain + Ringu Tulku RInpoche

    Ela Crain

    Ela’s background combines the Western sciences with Eastern philosophy. She has a BA in Archaeology & Anthropology, an MA in Film & Digital Media, and an MSc in Cognitive Brain Sciences from University College London. She founded and managed a video production company in London, started a Webby-nominee non-profit organization in Berlin, worked as a Life Coach and Podcast Host in Los Angeles.

    In 2011, during her studies at University College London, she began practicing meditation and studying with highly influential masters of Tibetan Buddhism. Her mission in life is to provide physical and virtual spaces to help others transform themselves into kinder beings that live authentic lives and fulfil their potential. A Buddhist View, Chats with Ringu Tulku Rinpoche is a step towards fulfilling this mission. She also produces a video podcast called Nonconventional, where she interviews people with unconventional lives and careers.

    Ringu Tulku Rinpoche has also been a guest at Nonconventional. So check out Nonconventional on YouTube to watch his interview, where he shared his journey from Tibet to India and Sikkim, and then to the West. Ela has also produced a 61-video YouTube series for Bodhicharya called Buddhism: Answers for Beginners with Ringu Tulku.
